favourite characters
Boris Pavlikovsky, From the book The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt, his dad is ukranian and his mom is polish and he moves a lot. He is known for his homoerotic relationship with the main character, Theodore Decker. He's a drug addict kid who was abused by his father all throughout his childhood. I love this character because i think he's incredibly emotionally complex in the book, he goes through a LOT and it's very interesting to watch his development throughout the book, both in his relationship with Theo, his relationship with Kotku, and his own personal hardships. Mike Wheeler, from the hit netflix show Stranger Things. He's a young boy, Will Byers' best friend, and the heart of his friend group. He likes to play DND, write, and he has two sisters, a father and a mother. I love this character because, once again, I think he is a very complex character. His relationship with popular character Eleven in the show is portrayed as rocky and unpredictable as he learns the boundaries of love while also seemingly bearing feelings towards his best friend, Will Byers. He is hated by the fandom because of this, but I think his subtle internal homophobia throughout the show is great representation to what many young queer kids go through.

The Good Cop, I like this story because its a mystery, one of my favorite genres, it has a good plotline and it's fairly realistic about police corruption. The main character is funny without intentionally trying, and its just a good book with good writing. Carrie I like this story because obviously its definetly a classic, but it has a lot of good horror elements and i was genuinely disturbed reading it. Stephen King wrote this very well, portrayed religious trauma well, and just had a very good style of writing throughout the story while giving it a good concept, that being of an explanation of the story, not a present day telling.
